Ed began to tire of Joe's persistent inquiries. It was one thing to be asked about the material of his new suit, it's lining, and interlining. But, when Joe had exhausted this theme, and began to quiz him gravely on what shades of stockings he would be wearing with it, Ed started to fidget.
